In Orange County, California, 1,853 full-time teachers were recently notified that they may lose their jobs. However, one Santa Ana teacher, Angela Harding, already received her pink slip. The health, technology, and physical education teacher said,

The cuts will take effect May 15, when school districts fully understand the state's budget. Many are blaming Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed budget for the cuts because, if his proposal goes into action, schools will receive $4 million less in funding.
