Account Executive - Outsourced Solutions

The Account Executive
will be responsible for strategic positioning, implementation and further development of complex solutions and sales strategies in the areas of Data Centers, Network Infrastructure and Cloud Services
within an existing client account. The Account Executive will Manage an Account Team based at customer site and will interface with corporate offices in Germany as well as North America.
Responsibilities:
Develop Customer Relationship at the CIO and VP/Director level
Understand ICT-specific business processes and assess the impact of potential changes from a technical and economic perspective, such as optimization potential
Develop and implement account strategy in accordance with company and customer objectives.
Responsibility for the full life cycle of sales, including delivery of services in cooperation with the Service and Production departments.
Development and marketing of innovative systems solutions (requirements discussion, solution concepts, moderation, etc.)
Manage daily business operations and direct work of account team members.
Oversee end-to-end sales process including invitation to tender analysis, costing review, project management, bid coordination and creation, and contract preparation (including all relevant approvals).
Client presentations and negotiations and Contract conclusion.
Escalation management.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Computer Science or related degree
5 - 8 years extensive experience in account/sales management in the Information Communication & Technology outsourced solution industry. (Data Centers, Network Infrastructure and Cloud Services)
Strong experience leading and managing clients for complex Information and Communications Technology (ICT) outsourcing deals.
Strong Post contract delivery experience with complex IT managed services
Must have experience with Global Accounts and an
understanding of
international business practices with multinational customers.
Long-standing sales experience with proven track record of success in sales, managing people, growing the business, managing accounts to include international IT Accounts.
Must be willing and able to travel within the US and abroad (up to 50%).
Demonstrated ability to manage large sales projects/deal pursuits (running into tens of millions of USD)
Process development and implementation experience.
Self-starter, goals focus and flexibility
Ability to cope with time pressure without sacrificing creativity and the will to innovate
Experience managing and leading a team
Experience working in an international cross border environment with multiple stake holders.
