Job Description

Join Ecolab’s sales team as an Account Executive

in the Indianapolis

, IN

market. This outside sales opportunity is within our industry leading PureForce division, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be responsible for driving sales by developing strategic sales plans for local competitive customers and through the use of local and national distributors. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

We are looking for candidates who will reside within 30 miles

of Indianapolis

, IN

and are willing to travel overnight on occasion if needed.

What You Will Do:

Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts and generate new sales within a specific geographic area , as you build Ecolab’s brand in your market

Learn potential customers’ warewashing systems and devise unique proposals and solutions as their expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs

Identify competitive sales targets and facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities

Assist field sales associates with accounts that are in jeopardy and provide education on the most effective tools to grow street sales

Basic Qualifications:

Completed Bachelor’s Degree

3 years of outside sales experience

Willing to travel overnight as required

Ability to complete pre-employment assessments including a physical, lift and carry 50 pounds, color vision test and drug screen

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

No Immigration Sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous business to business commercial sales experience

Industry related experience in food service

Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills
