Accrediting and Licensing Specialist
Duties: Will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with state authorization rules pertaining to institutional registration and the approval of academic programs. Research, analysis, and advice provided by the Licensing Specialist is used by other departments for business and academic planning. Collaborating with other departments throughout the College in order to draft applications and organize exhibits for submission to state higher education regulators and other approval boards. Acting as an ambassador of the College, maintaining good relationships with state regulators and other external contacts. This will involve occasional overnight travel. Conducting statutory legal research and analysis of state agency rules in order to maintain compliance with state laws wherever the College operates, and to inform and advise other departments on state authorization and other regulatory oversight matters. Assisting with the annual update and reprinting of the college catalog and creation of periodic addenda throughout the academic year. Performing other duties as assigned and required.
