Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Global teams
to develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow Analytics & Information Management presence in existing accounts
Work with Account/Sales teams to manage the pre-sales process
with clients and provide the leadership throughout the sales-cycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal
Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership & IT/ Business transformation
recommendations in various technology areas.
Work with India/Global based practice teams
on RFPs/Events/Go-to-Market (GTM) on solutions
Own account plans and targets for named accounts in the concerned vertical for US region, including forecasting revenue and order book, maintaining and growing pipeline funnel
Provide technical & architecture guidance
, for various technology areas in the Analytics & Information Management spectrum.
Work with the identified key alliance partners
and software vendors to jointly develop and own GTM plans
Should be able to execute short term strategic consulting projects, assessments, map solutions to client business processes
, and develop value proposition & business case.
Assessing current client IM programs (carrying out research and data collection; conducting analysis; interviewing client's employees, management team and other stakeholders; running focus groups and facilitating workshops, identifying issues and forming hypotheses)
Developing the IM business vision for client companies
New process visioning and design
IM Strategy and planning for new solution implementation – that can maximize the use of information
Developing new delivery strategy – leveraging the Global Delivery Model
Managing work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have an overall 18 plus years of work experience
with at least 5 years in Management/ Technical Consulting in the area of Information Management
. Must have at least 2 full life cycle business intelligence projects.
Sales Experience: 5 Years
Prior implementation experience in the area of Information Management is mandatory. Experience in Big Data, Hadoop, Anaytics needed.
Experience in the Media & Telecom industry will be a clear advantage
Prior experience in a highly collaborative and matrix’ed environment
or any experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services company
will be an added advantage.
Other Skills
Excellent Communication, Customer Interaction and Presentation Skills are mandatory
Should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT and Business Leadership levels (COO/ CIO Levels) within the Customer space
Education
Master of Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or an Engineering degree in the above areas.

Downstream – Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing/Customer and Financial Analytics
Cross-stream – Asset Management, Real-time Data Mgt.
Experience / understanding of Upstream data management
and familiarity with technology/platforms such as Schlumberger, Landmark etc. is a big plus.
