Duties: Performs executive, administrative duties concerning various aspects of operational management in support of the Service Plus philosophy and mission of Texas Tech. Oversee the institutions compliance with applicable federal and state laws and other regulatory standards. Develop and implement an effective Compliance Training Program. Develop and implement an effective Billing Compliance Program. Develop and implement an effective HIPAA Privacy Compliance Program. Responsible for investigating and/or supervising the investigation of all compliance issues. Develop and implement an audit and monitoring program for the Billing Compliance and HIPAA Privacy Compliance programs to ensure overall institutional compliance. Develop, implement and manage the Sanction Check process. Notify management if an employee vendor is identified on any sanction list and work to resolve the issue and/or self-report as necessary. Conduct Annual Risk Assessment to assess clinical and IT processes and policies.
