The Agribusiness Sales Representative
is responsible for managing sales, customer relationships and netbacks of Wet Feed, Corn Gluten Meal, and Steep Water at theNorth Kansas City, Missouri plant.

Sales - Responsibilities include balancing supply & demand, optimizing the ratio of spot vs. contract sales, pricing negotiations, maximizing netbacks, distribution of weekly price lists, tracking claims, communicating trends for improvement opportunities, prospecting to find new customer opportunities and establishing sound customers relationships.
Forward Pricing -
Use market knowledge to tweak short and long-term strategies. Market analysis would include supply & demand forecasts.
Industry Knowledge - Understand market trends, alternate feedstuffs, competitors and the marketplace.
Corporate Awareness - Understand and comply with the corporate code of ethics and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
University degree in Agricultural Sciences, Agribusiness or equivalent.
Agricultural background a plus.
Organizational skills and motivation are required.
Effective communication skills verbally and written.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Software Programs, (i.e., Excel, Access, Word).
SAP experience, a plus.
