****Reporting to the Manager Concentrate Development, this Group Leader will work with a talented team of four, whose work will be focused on technology transfer initiatives from California locations to other Amway manufacturing locations.
This team works with the physical transfer of products and processes to new locations working closely with partners in Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, including all areas in the Value Chain process.
We are seeking a technical leader, experienced in nutrition or food product development, who can lead a technical team.
This team will prepare documents and lead technical transfer initiatives that drive successful transitions of products and processes to new locations
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:
Provide leadership to a team involved in technology transfer initiatives
Lead technical development of documents, mix instructions, manufacturing formulas, etc
Mentor and develop a performance driven team of professionals
Collaborate and/or lead cross functional teams involved in transfer of products and processes to new locations
Drive efficiencies to introduce cost savings, team development, and operational efficiencies
Lead a team working remotely from additional peers and upline leadership
The accomplished individual will possess:
Minimum five years of technical experience related to role
Progressive experiences with nutrition or food product development initiatives and/or technology initiatives that relates to the role
Solid project management skills leading technical initiatives
Superior communication and relationship skills
Customer focused mindset demonstrating support for competing priorities
The strong professional will have the following academic accomplishments:
BS degree in a sciences field
MS desirable
