Updated Job Description:
•Position is for an accomplished demand planning professional with extensive planning expertise
•Position will be responsible for forecasting metric creation and analysis (MAPE, Mix Error, Bias, RMSE, WMAPE, Product Volatility, etc.)
•Monitor, interpret and report on trends, variances and anomalies such that management may take corrective action
•Analyze data with advanced statistical methods, interpret results, and provide written concise summaries
•Strong data management capabilities, including advanced Excel, Access, SQL, Business Objectives
•Experience establishing and defining forecast hierarchies to optimize forecast accuracy
•Experience leveraging vast data repositories to optimize forecast accuracy
•Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data
•Work closely with leadership to translate strategic concepts into report formats
•Creates and recommends strategies to maximize the effective management of materials
•Assists in the development of long and short-term objectives to ensure that programs and efforts are directed toward achieving company goals
•Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable and ambiguous factors
•Exercises judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
•Use various support systems to access and maintain data including planning, purchasing, warehousing and business warehouse systems
•Requires ability to work closely with cross functional teams to implement changes and improvements to existing processes
•Strong analytical skills a must
•Oracle Demantra experience a strong plus, but not required
•S&OP experience a strong plus, but not required
•Training/certification in following areas desirable Six Sigma, Lean, APICs
