Business Process Analyst 3
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Business Process Analyst 3 - Health IT to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Nashville, TN. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit, an organization that serves the IT needs of state and local governments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Facilitate and document JAD sessions with client to elicit system requirements.
* Define and document system requirements and enter into CONTOUR.
* Produce UML documents and Business Process Flow diagrams as required.
* Work closely with Development team and Test team to ensure product is developed and tested according to defined requirements.
* Produce and review Business Design Documents and Requirement Validation Documents in accordance with the project plan. Work as part of a collaborative team with the development team, test team, implementation team and with peer Business Analysts. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely at various times throughout the life cycle of the project.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* BA Degree & 6 years experience. Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
* 5 years conducting JAD sessions.
* Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
* Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow.
* Experience with Requirements Management and Defect Tracking tools
* Ability to work as a productive team member or independently as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
* Experience with Medicaid Eligibility Determination / CHIP systems
* Experience with CMS Federal Reviews
* Business Analysis Certification
* Understanding of systems design and development processes.
