We have an immediate opportunity for an experience C# / .NET developer.
This is a front-office position at a Tier I investment bank. Previous finance experience is not absolutely required but is a plus. The team is looking for very good programming skills in C# / .NET. The candidate who will excel in this position will have the passion to take their career to the next level as a technologist on a front-office trading team in a very interesting and analytical financial domain.
Strong C# / .NET skills are required, as well as multi-threaded programming experience and knowledge. The general environment is a mixture of WinForms and WPF (w/ MVVM)
This role will include a combination of front-office programming activities, including developing, back-testing, and running financial models and working directly with traders. This is front-office role is in an arbitrage group. It is an *incredible* opportunity for the person who is looking to become a technologist with excellent business visibility.
In addition to technical skills, an appreciation and passion for learning the business and working directly with traders is critical for this role.
