As a Supply Chain Planning Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. you will be responsible for leading a global team of Supply Chain Professionals devoted to ensuring successful planning and execution of Multi Chip Package (MCP) products from the business planning phase through order fulfillment. This position is specifically accountable for managing the 0-24 month supply planning processes for MCP, guiding the value chain to meet business requirements and customer objectives. Members of this leader's team will collaborate with the Business Units, Sales, Product Engineering, Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Finance to develop a predictable, transparent, and responsive supply plan that meets Micron's market requirements.
*Lead team members with the following job responsibilities:
*Responsible for publishing final constrained consensus, 0-24 month supply and inventory plans *Manage a predictable 0-24 month supply plan with tactical planning teams *Communicate supply capabilities with demand-related organizations for business optimization *Maintain our promises with customers on their orders and support plans *Develop and report performance metrics for continuous improvement
*Partner with Supply Chain Process Engineering to identify opportunities to mature Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) business processes or tools; Drive consensus around the need for change and drive project through to completion *Attract, develop, and retain talent to ensure the right skills and behaviors are in place to meet the business need
*Create alignment and accountability through clear goals that match team members' contributions with goals and metrics *Provide leadership to the team, communicate expectations, and deliver effective performance feedback
*Collaborate with multiple organizations across the company to execute the business process
Qualifications and Experience:
*Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering *Familiarity with the S&OP process and the Global Supply Management (GSM) discipline *Successful candidates will have knowledge of semiconductor processes, supply chain, S&OP, procurement, and the MCP's market's ecosystem *Proven problem-solving skills *Possesses financial acumen *Ability to influence others using a variety of approaches with or without positional authority *Able to break down large concepts into small deliverables with attention to detail while not losing sight of the overall strategy *Proven collaboration skills across diverse partner organizations *Comfort in dealing with ambiguity *Strong understanding of existing Supply Chain Demand Management responsibilities and ability to mentor, train, and develop team members *Ability to quickly learn new planning systems and concepts with the intent to implement, train, and develop others
B.S. degree in a relevant discipline such as: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
