In this role you will have the opportunity to perform setup and standard testing on Molex products for reliability prior to their release and also to perform annual validation testing. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares samples for validation testing according to standard methods and Best Practices.Sets up and operates standard and custom testing equipment. Performs general testing as required and assists with measurement systems analysis for routine testing procedures.Provides feedback to Senior Test Technicians and Test Engineers on means to improve sample preparation and testing procedures.Assists in training laboratory technicians.Assists in resolving test problems when necessary.Summarizes test results using Microsoft Excel and Word. Reviews test results with Test Engineer and alerts engineer to abnormalities or inconsistencies in test results.Tracks work hours performed and records notes on testing as instructed.Understand, support, and contribute to Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Quality (QS9000), and Environmental Management (ISO14000) Systems by following approved policies and procedures.Job Title:Category Manager - Indirect (Information Technology)Job Description:Position Overview:

Molex is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Category Manager – Indirect. The Indirect Category Mgr is responsible for source to contract process needed to implement strategic category objectives in the area of indirect spend working closely with various Indirect Sourcing business stakeholders. Also responsible for assuring compliance with customer related and regulatory requirements regarding the Molex supply base

Essential Functions:

Participate in the execution of global shared services strategies to meet Molex’s overall procurement shared services strategy. This includes meeting customer, EH&S and any other regulatory or industry requirements.

Serve as a member of a global category council and steer stakeholders towards the common category strategy

Engage with IT, HR, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategy is aligned to and capitalizes on supplier’s technology / product roadmaps to drive innovation

Identify suppliers to support new initiatives

Working with stakeholders to define and execute negotiation strategy, negotiation schedule and supplier selection criteria

Lead negotiation with industry benchmarks / pricing targets / data (fact-based negotiations) and knowledge sharing

Identify supply risks to supply/cost and develop plan to mitigate risks

Drive category-level cost reduction

Build Supplier Relationship and secure access and collaboration with Supplier executive management

Drive continuous improvement programs with suppliers

Drive supplier partnership and collaboration at all levels

Monitor and continuously improve Lead Time, Inventory, Quality performance, and Supply Assurance

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of six (6) years of procurement experience with an emphasis on IT spend

Minimum of six (6) years of cross functional project leadership at all levels within an organization.

Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Experience within a manufacturing environment of a high-tech component industry

CPM/CPSM, CIRM, CPIM
