Booz Allen partners with public and private sector clients to solve their most difficult challenges through a combination of consulting, analytics, mission operations, technology, systems delivery, cybersecurity, engineering and innovation expertise.Chemical Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Support the US Army Chemical Materials Activity Recovered Chemical Materiel Directorate (CMA RCMD), responsible for providing centralized management and direction to the DoD for the assessment and disposal of recovered chemical weapon materiel and other chemical disposal missions in a safe, environmentally sound and cost-effective manner. Integrate as part of a diverse team responsible for assisting RCMD by providing technical analysis, program management, and mission and operational support. Leverage complete knowledge and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field and employ general knowledge of other related disciplines. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, ensuring solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives and determine and recommend an approach to solutions independently. Use chemical expertise to support multi-disciplinary team efforts for operations and RDT&E of related systems, contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects, and represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Analyze client needs, develop and implement technical solutions, produce clear, concise technical writing, proposals, and reports, and conduct analysis of alternatives and technical risk management.\\rBasic Qualifications:-12 years of experience with the industry or government in chemical engineering, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and chemical biological defense technology-5 years of experience in working within the chemical demilitarization program or recovery operations-Experience with the RCMD mission, destruction technologies, and equipment-Experience with systems engineering-Knowledge of analytical methods, test and evaluation procedures, laboratory operations, data analysis, and presentation-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and open source science resources-Ability to analyze, condense, and summarize complex technical data in succinct technical documents-Ability to work independently and within a team setting-MS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry-Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training required\\rAdditional Qualifications:-Experience with working within DoD, Army, or CBRNE programs-Experience with program management-Experience with process improvement initiatives-Ability to display a well-established publication and scientific presentation record-Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills-PhD degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry-Lean Six Sigma Certification\\rIntegrating a full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems by their side to help them achieve their missions.
