Profile

Responsibilities
Serves as the central point of contact for AHEAD channel partners, including but not limited to Cisco, Box, Net App, Hitachi, Symantec, AppSense and related distributors.
Understands AHEAD’s value proposition, our place in the industry, and the technical terms used by customers and partners in combination with the solutions we deliver.
Strategy development and program planning: understand and identify key marketing opportunities and define marketing plan for each partner. Work with the sales and corporate marketing teams in developing targeted programs and events based on actionable data and market rationale. Present and sell-through quarterly marketing plans to channel partners.
Successfully drive the execution of partner enablement and marketing programs including promotions. Define measurements of success for each program. Ensure on-time and on-budget execution of plans with strong attention to details.
Sales lead management: Ensure successful transfer of event-generated leads and opportunities from partners to AHEAD sales team and track through completion. Develop a plan and process for reporting results.
Perform regular status reviews with channel partners to discover new requirements, understand and communicate technical certifications to the engineering team, develop and present, or participate in presentations, of AHEAD brand and marketing strategies, and identity and resolve any issues that may impede optimization of the relationship(s).
Work with operations in developing a Salesforce.com based Partner Relationship Management [PRM] tool providing real time call reports and financial performance tracking of co-op, MOU and MDF accounts along with other related metrics.
Contribute to the overall sales strategy and share successes.
Perform other cross-functional duties and tasks according to business need.
Desired Skills & Experience
CURRENT or PREVIOUS experience as a CISCO Partner Relationship Manager is REQUIRED for this position.
Solid understanding of the IT manufacturing industry is a must.
