& Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group within Medical Devices is recruiting

for a BDS Clinical Support Specialist (CSS)

to align with Biologics Delivery Systems Group. This position is field-based

with a preference focused on the West Coast (US).

Biologics Delivery Systems Group, is

a leader in the emerging field of biologics delivery, developing breakthrough

technology in targeted delivery across multiple disease states and clinical

specialties. Biologics Delivery Systems Group delivery technology is advancing

the standard of care by enabling physicians to identify and visualize optimal

delivery sites, and to precisely target single and multiple treatment sites.



Under the leadership of the Global

Director with support and direction of the North American Field Managers, the BDS Clinical Support Specialist

(CSS) will act as a clinical/technical resource for physicians and staff

as well as research staff and partners.


primary responsibilities of the BDS CSS will be to:

Provide expert

clinical and technical product support to healthcare providers, including

physicians and catheterization lab staff, research staff and research partners

for the effective use of all BDS products.

Products include

the NOGA and Carto mapping/therapeutic systems and associated catheters and software modules to be used

during diagnostic mapping and endocardial delivery of biologics.

Collaborates with

NA Field Management, to ensure open communication of field clinical support and

training efforts, case scheduling and changes to ensure alignment and

coordination of activities to meet business objectives.

Educate customers

on all BDS products to optimize effective usage by providing technical and

clinical information and in-service trainings.

Collaborate with

peers to share best practices to increase value for customers.

Guide customers

in company’s Event Reporting process

Maximize customer

case support capability through proper planning and scheduling techniques.

Coordinate NOGA

or CARTO system installations, conducting site evaluations, communicating with

technical services and the customer to facilitate the scheduling, shipment, and

final installation of the system


collaboration and maintain consistent, open lines of communication across the

assigned responsibilities with the BDS and BWI team and other internal and

external partners.

Develop and share

best practices with BDS support team and BWI service colleagues and internal


Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and

beyond the EP/Cath lab, including, but

not limited to physicians, nurses and technicians, clinical and hospital

administrators and staff.

Stay current on

company products instructions for use (IFU), best practices and technical

troubleshooting, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new

product information.

Prioritize and

appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment.

Engage in

diagnostic dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and

stakeholders, and formulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained during

for new BDS team members as requested.

Collaborate with

requests by email and voicemail from customers, practitioners and partners.

Additional duties

include performing administrative work, including managing account

documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and Company

system input.

Maintaining Safe

Fleet standards per Company guidelines.

Responsible for

communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management


Responsible for

ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and

Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Participate in

weekly conference calls as required and provide updates as necessary to BDS


Perform other

duties assigned as needed.



A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of

six (6) years of experience in a patient care or hospital environment is


A min of two (2) years professional experience

working in a clinical Interventional Cardiology (IC) or Electrophysiology

(EP) laboratory is required.

A valid Driver’s License is required.

Proven ability to

be an effective and timely communicator with co-workers and all levels of

patient care team is required.

Required to work

in a hospital laboratory setting, attending live patient cases, and wear

protective gear (e.g. lead aprons).

Position requires

sitting for extended periods of time and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs.

This position will be field based. The ability to

travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel

up to 80% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.

Strongly Preferred

Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and

can be flexible in a dynamic work environment is preferred.

Problem solver who can think critically in high

pressure environments is preferred.

RN, BSN, Cardiovascular technician is preferred.
