Contracts Attorney
Duties: Be responsible for developing and drafting various types of contracts; performing contract review and negotiations for all types of Medical Center agreements; coordinating and overseeing a contracts management database and approval process; coordinating the Medical Center’s contracts paralegals; and providing legal support as needed to the general counsel and other in-house attorneys with matters relating to the Medical Center and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Reports to VP and General Counsel. Serve as the primary contract administrator for the Medical Center, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor agreements, equipment purchases and leases, financing leases, hardware and software agreements, purchasing contracts, and HIPAA business associate agreements. Help coordinate the work of the contract review team (the contracts attorney and paralegals). Work with business partners and attorneys within and outside the Medical Center to develop, draft and/or negotiate numerous types of agreements. Assist in the implementation of/and ongoing support for the Medical Center’s contracts management database. Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned by the general counsel or other in-house counsel. Serve as a resource on all contracts-related issues.
