Course Developer / SME, Epidemiology - Master of Public Health Program
The candidate will develop Epidemiology curriculum for the Master of Public Health program. Will help draft a course outline, develop course objectives, prepare new course content, recommend learning activities, create project assignments, and develop grading rubrics. The specific subjects under consideration may include: Epidemiology Research Methods, Disease Surveillance and Monitoring, and Infectious Disease Prevention. May create: new curriculum guide; textbook review and selection (if appropriate); course schedule; project, assignments, and/or labs; grading policy; new course content (introduction, lectures, discussion questions, quizzes, exams); suggested onsite activities; and grading rubrics. A PhD/DrPH or professional doctorate (EdD, MD, J.D.) is required. A Master of Public Health graduate degree is needed. Should have experience developing graduate-level curriculum as an SME, course developer, or instructional designer. Must have 5+ years of directly-relevant experience in Epidemiology (Epidemiology Research Methods, Disease Surveillance and Monitoring, Infectious Disease Prevention). College/University teaching experience, especially online and/or at the graduate level is preferred.
