Understand business context and data elements of varying data sources
Collaborate with the Post Sales Surveillance team to develop and execute analytical approaches to identify potential emerging issues through data analysis and issue detection
Conduct data queries, text mining, and consolidation of testing, manufacturing, and post-sales data for issue analysis
Perform data review and analysis to identify and classify potential safety and quality issues
Clearly communicate analysis findings, summarize results and provide recommendations to varying levels of the organization
Assist in preparation for field action, Product Action Plan meetings, and status updates
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and develop reporting around relevant post-sales KPIs
Drive work optimization through report automation and stakeholder education
Execute standard and ad-hoc reports
Leverage organizational learnings to guide continuous improvements in data governance
Other duties as assigned by the needs of the department or company
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience. Four (4) year degree preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude in powersports and/or automotive
Extensive experience in data queries, analysis, text classification and report generation
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, SharePoint, and data visualization tools
Excellent analytics and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to drive insights and recommendations from the data
Independent decision-making and resolution skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross functionally at all levels of an organization
Experience with SQL for use in handling preparation and processing of large datasets
Working understanding of a safety and/or regulatory environment
Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing and machine learning models desired
Off-Road Vehicle, Snowmobile, and/or Motorcycle knowledge and use preferred
