POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for Medical City Plano & Medical City Frisco dedicated service lines. Overall direction and business development, marketing, physician relations, and community outreach. Directs all departments and financial functions connected with the day-to-day management of the entity and performs additional duties at the request of the Vice President of Business Development. Consults with medical staff members; remains fully informed regarding the views of the medical staff as to the quality of medical practice and patient care within the dedicated service lines. Oversees the planning, control, and effective utilization of the physical, financial and human resources of the service lines. Maintains awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensures that the entity has an active and continuous marketing plan that meets the overall strategic objectives. Ensures that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operation of the service lines. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service line promotion & development
Physician issue resolution
Collaboration with physician sales, strategic planning & members of the business development team
Implementation of the strategic plan
Competitor and market analysis
Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function
Medical City Plano is a full-service, 493-bed acute-care facility with more than 1,600 employees and over 1000 physicians on staff, representing over 70 specialties and sub-specialties. Our main campus in the heart of Plano includes the main hospital and medical offices, an outpatient surgery center, a comprehensive cancer-treatment center, an emergency and Level 1 Trauma Center, a radiology/imaging center, a comprehensive cardiovascular program, the Center for Lifestyle Enhancement, The Bariatric Institute, Wound Care Center and complete women's and children's services including a high-risk antepartum unit and a Level 3 neonatal intensive-care unit.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master's degree in healthcare or Business Administration

Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in overseeing the operations of similar services

Licensure/certification/registration: N/A

Special Skills & Qualifications:

Membership and active participation in appropriate healthcare professional associations and community organizations
Must be an effective organizer and delegator, able to communicate well in every facet of the organization
Must be decisive and work well with other members of the management staff
The ability to deal with a multiplicity of complex situations simultaneously
Effective communication skills required; experience at public speaking events required
