Job responsible for identifying, organizing and executing strategic initiatives across the Finance organization with a particular emphasis on standardization, centralization and automation. Areas of focus will include Accounting, Finance, IT, Payroll and Payment Services. Will also assist with training and other Finance-related activities.
Individual contributor who will actively lead complex Finance projects and initiatives to ensure they are completed on-time, in-scope and within budget. Will make recommendations for and implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the Finance organization and evaluate ways to streamline Finance services provided to the broader Aramark organization.
Essential Job Functions
Duties and Responsibilities
Define and drive key projects and initiatives aimed at reducing costs, eliminating complexity and/or maximizing value of select functions and operations. Manage process improvement activities and provide overall direction, guidance and coordination for various projects and initiatives. Provide coaching, mentoring and training for project leaders and participants.
Assist in Finance training activities, including identifying opportunities for new and/or enhanced training, developing content and coordinating with other groups and functions.
Assist in other Finance-related activities, such as preparation for Board of Directors and other Finance meetings.
Provide executive level reports with key insights into business process improvement opportunities in the Finance organization.
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a Finance or Business discipline.
Project Management expertise/experience, including process mapping skills.
10 years of relevant business experience, leading and executing continuous improvement projects.
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills including those used in Lean Six Sigma.
Excellent listener and communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
Proven track record of driving sustainable change.
Strong strategic thinker.
Skilled at collaboration and conflict resolution.
High emotional intelligence.
Experience facilitating, training and coaching.
This position will be accountable for identifying, planning, designing and facilitating key projects and initiatives at the direction of the Vice President, Finance Operations. Projects and initiatives will be focused on standardization, centralization and automation and will target areas with efficiency and cost-savings opportunities. These projects and initiatives will positively impact the Finance organization's ability to improve quality, reduce processing times, capture efficiencies, reduce costs and drive higher customer satisfaction.
This highly visible position is intended to be a launching point for a career path which could lead to advancement within the Finance organization, business operations and/or functional management roles.
Position will assist in identifying best-in-class performance benchmarks across all aspects of the Finance organization and will participate in the prioritization of the areas of opportunity identified through the benchmarking. Innovation through standardization, systems integration, automation, etc. is a key deliverable to the success of this role.
