Summary:

Identifies, evaluates and executes opportunities to retain existing customer business on High Plains Pipeline while also delivering organic growth plans which enhance existing logistics assets. Develops and cultivates new/existing relationships, new/existing revenue streams or cost savings projects, and advancements into new markets, all to create lasting value for Andeavor Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

* Understands, recognizes and evaluates existing customer business in order to work closely with these customers in cultivating relationships to retain existing business on long term or short term contracts. * Identifies organic business development opportunities to grow profitability in Logistics. Negotiates with customers to develop commercial agreements which facilitate earnings growth for Andeavor Logistics. Prepares business cases for organic growth projects to review and finalize decisions by executive management. * Manages all aspects of commercial relationship with specified Andeavor Logistics customers and joint venture partners. Provides commercial support to Logistics Operations as needed to retain and/or grow the business across the full network of assets in North Dakota. * Represents Logistics from a commercial standpoint on cross-functional projects including business case preparation, development of options around scope of projects and handoff for execution by the functions. * Creates action plans with relevant milestones and appropriate measurements. Contributes to and leads negotiations maintaining confidentiality and using sound judgment and discretion. Directs due diligence activities as required. Works with cross-functional teams, business executives and General Counsel to prepare requisite legal documents in support of our strategic growth objectives. * Assists in the development of monthly/quarterly budget reviews and revenue growth plans to EX-COM members. * Represents Andeavor Logistics at local, regional and national industry meetings as appropriate. Maintains a keen understanding of what is happening in each of our markets in terms of logistics expansions/restraints, supply/demand, regional pricing, existing/new customers and existing/new competitors so opportunities are generated from that market knowledge. * Creates action plans with relevant milestones and appropriate measurements. Contributes to and leads negotiations maintaining confidentiality and using sound judgment and discretion. Directs due diligence activities as required. Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting or related field. MBA strongly preferred * Minimum 10 years of experience in progressively responsible positions within Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions, or Commercial for mid-stream or down-stream energy industries is required.
