Description
This is a leadership role with direct oversight and accountability of for day-to-day delivery of a matrixed team consisting of operational technical roles, vendor management and oversight, and line-of-business partners. Will lead follow-thru and delivery all project commitments as well as communicate status and shifts in strategy across IT teams as well as foster collaboration within IT and business areas.
Responsibilities include:
- - Abilities to work with Information Technology (IT) teams within the lines of business (LOB) as well as engineering and operations to drive and deliver detailed technical requirements in order to produce a detailed plan as well as drive and deliver on execution of those plans through to delivery of Operations.
- Will have overall accountability for all technology moves as well as accountability for the forecast of technology needs (infrastructure) in target data centers to accommodate moves.
- Must have be able to collaborate and partners with Tech Leads (TL) to ensure application and infrastructure technical design and requirements are documented and validated with LOB platform and application owners.
- Oversees and lead all translation of migration requirements into accurate and actionable work plans (minute-by-minute plans)
- Will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of infrastructure components to ensure move requirements are met.
- Will partner with TL, LOB application owners and Application Quality Services (QS) in the completion of testing requirements and execution.
- Will be the initial point of contact for LOBs to escalate issues and concerns during the Migration Execution
- Will lead and direct resources for each moves as they occur and drive any issue resolution to ensure minimal risk to all production systems
- Report out on status, be able to participate in migration strategy, as well as be able to interact and communicate with senior IT executives on status and deliverables
- Manage large, complex, operational programs by leading security data center subject matter experts, business resources, and vendor resource teams to deliver, enhance, and operate solutions and drive migration.
- Lead and develop direct reports
- Ensure compliance to corporate policies and standards.
- Manage budget forecasts and capital and operational expenditures
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or military experience
- 5 years of experience in People/Personnel Management
- 5 years of experience in Information Security Management
- 5 years of experience in Data Center or Infrastructure Operations including experience with large Data Center consolidation
- 5 years of experience in Communication and Influencing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 10 Years of experience in People/Personnel Management
- 10 Years of experience in Information Security Operations and Management
- 5 years of experience in Project Management (planning, executing, tracking)
- 10 Years of experience in General IT Knowledge of systems and infrastructure
