Provide support to DW architect for data warehouse and datamart development and build-out …Pyramid Consulting Group has a Pittsburgh financial client with a full time need for an experienced ETL DEVELOPER.
The successful candidate will:
* Be responsible for supporting and development of current daily ETL processes for the organization’s data warehouse and for ongoing development and enhancements;
* Assist other ETL developers with the development and maintenance of new datamart ETL processes;
* Assist with support and development of various daily extracts to outside vendors.
The client is looking for the following background and skills:
* BS in computer science or related field;
* At least eight years IT experience;
* Five plus years experience with Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool and ETL development;
* At least 3 Years experience with MS SQL Server (2005 and or 2008 preferred);
* Strong understanding of Data warehouse (star schema ) repositories;
* At least two plus years experience with Datamart methodologies; and
* Transformation Load, Mapping Data, Mapping Tools and Informatica is a plus
