Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Planner for Bennettsville, SC.

Serve as area planner and technical resource for troubleshooting IE problems. Perform root cause investigations to make IE systems more reliable. Manage obsolescence by upgrading and modernizing equipment. Accountable for maintenance oversight on capital improvements. Develop an approach to identify and change technologies to make the mill more reliable and more productive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot complex electrical and process instrumentation systems.

Specify and upgrade process measurement systems.

Plan work orders using CMMS

Manage projects for reliability and modernization.

Investigate equipment failures and resolve issues.

Stand-in for departmental vacancies.

Perform detailed project and equipment outage planning.

Perform other duties as assigned including supervision of hourly IE workforce.

Previous Work Experience:

Strong communication skills oral, written and listening

Able to communicate with others in a professional, concise manner

Strong analytical problem solving skills

Ability to plan outages

Knowledge of CMMS

Knowledge of electrical system


Advanced d


gree in Construction Management, Electrical, or related field is preferred

Minimum of 3 years experience working on scheduling of projects

Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling

Strong written and oral communication skills

Minimum of 3 years experience using Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Office products

P6 experience preferred

Familiarity with claims prevention and analysis techniques strongly preferred

Ability to conduct constructability reviews for varying construction method/techniques during design or construction
