The Global Talent Acquisition organization at eBay Inc. is a fast-paced, highly motivated team of professionals focused on finding the best talent in the world to help drive the business performance, while delivering a best in class candidate experience. The Executive Talent Acquisition Partner – Technical will be a Strategic Talent Advisor to senior business leaders for Technical & Product on the end to end hiring process for Executive level hires at eBay Inc. This role will report to the Global Head of Executive Talent Acquisition and is a key role in the growth and focus on Executive Talent Acquisition at eBay, Inc.
Deliver a VIP experience to all candidates throughout their experience with eBay, Inc.
Lead the discussion with the hiring manager and HR Business Partner to understand hiring requirements, complete the talent request briefing/intake sessions, setting realistic expectations and education on the end to end hiring process at eBay Inc.
Conduct thorough pre-screen activities as appropriate to eBay Inc. hiring standards and role specific requirements, and present a recommended shortlist of the most suitable candidates for consideration.
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Sourcer to generate potential candidates through a range of sourcing channels for all active roles utilizing the most effective and cost efficient methods available.
Manage the end to end hiring activities of assigned Executive requisitions, delivering an efficient and effective service to the business, ensuring that all coordinate elements and logistics are communicated and managed correctly.
Be a world class ambassador for ETA in relationships and communication with the Human Resource Business Partner’s (HRBP’s), MyHR, Centers of Expertise (COE’s), and business leaders.
Monitor and ensure 100% compliance of hiring process activities including Kroll, Skills Survey & Account Review where applicable, and work closely with the VIP Executive Assistant to ensure all activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with executive employment agencies, colleges, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified candidates.
The Executive Talent Acquisition Partner (ETAP) is responsible for effectively articulating the business objectives, challenges and overall strategy to potential candidates and sources of the role and owns the candidate brief.
Collate all information and closely collaborate with compensation partners in a timely and efficient manner.
Actively participate in Talent Acquisition related projects as required and contribute to the development of annual Talent Acquisition planning, budgeting & strategy development.
Effectively manage other Executive Talent Acquisition team members as appropriate.
Job Requirements
Extensive experience hiring at the executive level and passionate in the technical & product areas.
Deep Executive Talent Acquisition best practice expertise, broad organizational knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems, legislative regulations and labor market trends.
Superior interpersonal and negotiation skills; demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization.
Proven record of building and managing relationships with internal and external customers including business partners, users, vendors, project teams and management leaders demonstrating the highest levels of integrity and discretion.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage and handle multiple tasks of an urgent nature, while ensuring a professional level of tact and diplomacy.
Accomplished written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate and deal with all levels in the organization in a clear, timely and effective manner.
Resilient and self-confident with the ability to think on your feet while under pressure.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new knowledge related to Talent Acquisition systems and processes.
Strong technical and systems aptitude with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer-focused with ability to positively champion eBay Inc. and the GTA organization internally and externally.
Intellectual curiosity around technology and best practice Talent Acquisition.
