Full Time Day PPO & HMO Insurance Supervisors
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: 3600 Harwood Road, Suite B, Bedford, TX 76021
NPAS represents 200 HCA/Non HCA hospitals nationwide. These hospitals place their accounts with NPAS and our Customer Services Professionals contact patients and insurance companies to collect on accounts on behalf of these hospitals. We are a blended inbound/outbound call center environment.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
1. Ensures that collection policies and procedures are followed to maximize collections with excellent customer service at the lowest cost; assists Manager in reaching team goals and objectives.
2. Provides full shift floor support for team members.
3. Participates in coordination activities with other Operations Supervisors in a highly developed team environment.
4. Maintains a working knowledge of all team operations and associated facility processes while communicating any changes to hourly staff.
5. Assures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
6. Coaches and motivates hourly staff to reach individual and team goals.
7. Performs quality reviews including reviews with staff; submits reviews to Manager for review and approval.
8. Monitors daily performance of staff for productivity, time utilization, quality of work, and customer service.
9. Provides feedback in routine disciplinary matters.
10. Provides training to all new hires.
11. Assists Manager in screening, interviewing and training new and existing employees.
12. Resolves issues presented by team members.
13. Assists Manager in conducting weekly staff meetings.
14. Monitors and approves payroll.
15. Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Values Statement
16. Leads the team in supporting NPAS policies and goals while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
17. Other duties as assigned.
The Operations Supervisor will perform many administrative functions and will assist the Manager training hourly employees, assigning team work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ø Associates or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; call center experience a plus, 1 years of supervisory experience.
Ø Salary Range- $35,000-$40,000
