Our client, a large International Bank, seeks a Support Consultant to provide functional support on their Summit Fixed Income & Trading software applications.
Responsibilities:
. Support Summit users with day to day issues; including troubleshooting trade fails, reset fails, risk, STP, P&L (Profit & Loss), Accounting, etc.
. Create customized solutions for various Summit users
. Engage in projects related to Summit; including new products implementation, new market initiatives
. Partner with the global team to prioritize and resolve issues
Requirements:
. 3 years SUMMIT experience (using Summit in a front-office/risk management perspective is a plus)
. Strong SQL and Unix
. Scripting knowledge (ksh, VBA, Perl) a big plus
. Experience working with US Treasury and Fixed Income Products (bonds and futures) is a huge plus
. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
. Ability to work with front office, middle office, risk and back office users
. Comfortable talking to end-users (Traders)
. Dynamic individual able to excel in a fast-paced environment
. Great communication skills... will be in constant communication with Hong Kong, London and Paris
