As an Intern in the GC R&D Department you will be involved in the development of products and tools in Agilent's portfolio of Gas Chromatograph, Automated Sample Handling and Automated Sample Preparation products. You will be part of a highly skilled, innovative and multidisciplinary team of Engineers and Scientists developing the next generation of products in Agilent's industry-leading Gas Phase Products Division. Your internship would provide experience in the following areas:
- Instrument product development
- Instrument product development processes
- Product Test and Quality processes
- Knowledge about principles and operation of Chemical Analysis instruments
• We are looking for and Mechanical Engineering students at the Junior Level, or those who have equivalent education/experience
• Have excellent teamwork skills
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
• High Initiative
• Good Computer Skills including programming
• Thrive in a hands-on working environment
• Interest in Robotics
• Interest in Chemistry
• This internship requires a work schedule of 40 hours/per week
