The candidate will serve as a member of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Standards Team, specifically working in the area of Tactical Standards.
A successful candidate will support the development, integration, implementation, testing, and technical support for NATO Standards (STANAGS). The candidate will support development and management of specific ISR STANAGS (such as STANAG 4545, 4676, 4559, 4607, 4609, etc.).
The candidate will also attend (and contribute to) the Joint Capability Group on ISR (JCGISR), the international forum that maintains the ISR STANAGs.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 6 full years of experience in related field, with 1 year of recent agency experience.
*- Subject Matter Expertise in the following areas: Standards Editing, Geospatial Sensor Models, Metadata and Metadata Harmonization
*- Experience working with advanced tactical sensor data formats and metadata
*- Experience* in GEOINT data standards
*- Experience* with ISR Sensors, platforms and phenomenology
*- Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
*- Ability to work with international partners, travelling to meet face-to-face when necessary but also able to work well via email and teleconference
*- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-contractor / government organization
*- Active TS/SCI clearance or must be clearable
Responsibilities:
*- The candidate would need to be a self-starter, comfortable working in a complex/multifaceted development environment.
Qualifications/Education:
*- Experience with the policies and practices of the following Standards organizations: ISO, ISO/IEC, INCITS L1, Open Geospatial Consortium (including the North American Forum), NATO and Coalition partner organizations
*- Expertise with the* following Standards organizations and their policies and procedures:* Open Geospatial Consortium, ISO, GWG
