Nasdaq Position Overview
Assists with the development, implementation and administration of cost-effective benefits programs, such as pension plans, life, health and disability insurance.
Provides basic administration support for all health and wellness plans, including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, life insurance and Nasdaq’s Pension Plan.
Runs routine reports and analyses on benefits plan performance and prepares monthly billing invoices.
Responds to routine benefits inquiries.
Ensures benefits elections forms are updated, created and available for distribution.
Uses HRIS system to process benefits changes for new hires and other employment changes.
Provides drafting and scheduling support for benefits orientation sessions and open enrollment communications.
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience Required: 2 to 3 years

Learns how to view decisions and consider solutions from the customer’s perspective, developing a basic understanding of the way business is done within the organization.
Demonstrates basic understanding of relevant markets, business strategies and operating environments.
Develops an understanding of statutory and regulatory HR requirements through research and reading recent requirements documents.
Learns how and why HR programs and processes should be in compliance with local and national regulations.
Assists with the development of HR procedures, processes, guidelines, etc.
Identifies where efficiency and process improvements are needed within own work area.
Applies process improvements to own work to enhance individual work outputs.
Participates on projects to develop a basic understanding of change management strategies and operational issues.
Adapts to and adopts new ways of working to support the business; proactively asks questions to understand why things are done the way they are.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of developing simple processes or protocols. Assists with research and provides input into project plans and milestones.
Tracks and monitors simple projects; adheres to project deadlines and alerts management of any barriers to successful project completion.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of vendor relationships and appropriate quality standards.
