Anadarko's mission is to deliver a competitive and sustainable rate of return to Shareholders by developing, acquiring and exploring for oil and gas resources vital to the world's health and welfare.Job SummaryThis position is located in The Woodlands, TX office as a member of the Gulf of Mexico / International Deepwater HSE team.  They will provide support to the Gulf of Mexico / International Deepwater Projects team and serve as a daily point of contact. This includes HSE programs and procedures development, rollout, training and implementation.QualificationsMinimum 8 years years of combined HSE experience in oil and gas industry.Minimum 2 years based at an onsite Operations Facility (On-Shore or Off-shore; Oil & Gas; Petrochemical, or High-Hazards Manufacturing).Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.Solid working knowledge of HSE Programs, Procedures and safe work practices such as Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, Lifting Safety, Energy Isolation, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, Hazard Communication, Working at Height, Dropped Objects, Stop Work Authority, Fire Safety, Incident Reporting and Investigation, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection etc.Solid working knowledge and understanding of HSE compliance, audit and inspections.Familiarity with E&P environmental issues such as spill/release prevention and waste management.Ability to successfully interact with representatives of other departments, contractors and vendors, partner companies, and work well in integrated teams made up of people at all levels.Team player with excellent communication skills and multicultural awareness.Demonstrated interpersonal / teambuilding skills.ResponsibilitiesProvide HSE leadership and support for Production Operations.Manage incidents/near-misses/observations by well using Anadarko incident tracking system (Insight).Conduct HSE Incident investigations, track corrective actions, and develop HSE alerts.Respond to and report notifications of HSE incidents to the appropriate Regulatory Agencies.Apply HSE Programs, Procedures, safe work practices, and tools to facilities being supported.Provide direction, guidance, and supports for responsible facility’s HSE issues.Implement project HSE bridging process or develop specific HSE plan for production operations.Coordinate and participate in Project Hazard Analysis (PHA) reviews including HAZID, JHA, and JSA.Conduct and support field HSE inspections and corporate HSE audits. Track corrective action.Participate in Incident Management Team and/or Incident Support Team, as needed.Prepare HSE reports and presentations for management, corporate or regulatory agencies.Provide instructor led HSE Training on existing Anadarko HSE Programs, as necessary.EducationBachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or other related field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.Certification/LicensesValid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.RelocationThis position may be eligible for relocation.Travel RequirementsTravel will be required up to 25%.Work ScheduleThis position is eligible for the 5/40 or 9/80 work schedule.,
