Human Resources Associate

The HR Associate will be a valued resource to the department and the company. Duties include processing employee paperwork, maintaining employee files, administering company resources, assisting with new hire on-boarding and HRIS maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for HRIS Administration which includes inputting all new hires, changes, separations and all other employment related documentation
File and organize confidential documents, including creating and auditing new employee’s personnel files. Responsible for all employee files. Respond to inquiries and requests from employees
Assist with New Hire Orientation and onboarding
Responsible for all employee changes being reflected in the appropriate systems, including: PAF creation, retrieval of appropriate signatures and communication of employee information to all necessary systems and departments.
Processes all promotion materials and distributes as appropriate.
Weekly and Monthly reporting for various departments and requests as well as provide reports for workforce, compliance, training and organizational charts.
Conduct employment verifications
Process termination and exit packets
Assist with HR team problem solving, projects, and team initiatives.
Conduct research on HR topics for HR team.
Responds to all Unemployment Claims. Ensures information is provided by deadlines. Informs the HR Manager of all unemployment claim decisions and file appeals as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years’ experience in HR in a fast paced and dynamic company
1 years’ experience in Employee Relations preferred. Previous experience working with managers and employees to solve employee performance issues is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to forge strong internal/external relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to details are a must
Experience with HRIS systems (ADP and Oracle) preferred.
Ability to problem-solve and drive process enhancements, open to taking on additional projects outside of job requirements and respond timely in an ever-changing environment.
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must demonstrate a high level of customer service, professionalism and courtesy to all employees and vendors.
Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, government regulations.
