Position Overview

The entry level position is responsible for supporting partnerships with the business, providing counsel on all Information Technology related issues and initiatives, service level management of applications and systems, design and implement architecture to ensure expansion and future capabilities, maintains local voice and data infrastructures, execution of project deployment, user training and adoption for systems, recommending process improvements and delivering constructive feedback to project leads.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering: Provide counsel to the business on all Information Technology related issues and initiatives, exchange and share information, active account management, business continuity, review applications and assist with access requirements, ensure compliance of all CCR IT standard policies, procedures, and best practices.

Deployment/ Projects: Conduct surveys and data collection activities, partner with project leaders on all business initiatives to design and develop the required infrastructure, execute Lifecycle Management plans and ensure adherence to asset recover standards and policies, conduct pilot testing, recommend system or process enhancements, execution of project deliverables.

Service Level Management: View and monitor all support incidents in area of responsibility, manage SLA’s, proactive knowledge sharing, serve as liaison between users, vendors and technical groups to resolve issues. Provide remote and/or on-site Field IT operational support, maintenance, problem solving, configuration and installation.

People Development: Periodic business engagement with various departments and functions (shoulder to shoulder), improve both technical and soft skills, coaching, utilize development tools (Skill soft and LMS)

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience:

2-3 years of work experience in procurement or relevant related field.

Demonstrated competency in 5 or more of the following areas:

PC & Desk side; PBX & Voicemail, Handhelds

Output Management and Server Management

Infrastructure and application Knowledge

Project deployment and management

Consumer packaged goods business knowledge

Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.

Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.

Good technical knowledge as well as a clear understanding of information technology

Strong communication, time management and client management skills

Written communication skills and technical writing skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions within established guidelines and policies

Excellent customer service skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and fosters understanding

Functional Skills:

Gather or analyze business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions, (e.g., audience analysis, needs analysis, delta analysis, validation sessions) analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to prepare the education & training strategy.

Analyze business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information need, business processes) by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs.

Collaborate with clients to jointly identify the business systems requirements to support their business plans.

Create and refine conceptual alternatives of business process, technology design and blueprint or infrastructure assessment to create the physical environment needed to develop, test, train and deploy the solution.

Design business transactions based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components.
