This is a senior technical level position responsible for all domains of information security across enterprise-level organization.
Position Summary
Develop technical security standards and implement them.
Monitor and report on compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
Evaluate, build, test, operate, and support a wide variety of enterprise-level information security systems and tools.
Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Interface with user community to understand their security needs and implement procedures to accommodate them.
Ensure that the user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
Participate in all activities related to the Enterprise Security Program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree telecommunications, engineering, computer science or equivalent and 7-10 years total relevant experience
4 years minimum experience working in information security/assurance
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
Ability to work with vendors on difficult tier 3 or 4 support issues
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from disparate sources into an effective Security design
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Ability to work independently with minimal management supervision, as well as, part of a team
Working knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST security standards
Strong security background in network / systems / physical security, authentication, authorization and usability
Deep Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods
Experience analyzing security for systems and applications (Penetration testing, web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc.)
Experience with security regarding Windows Active Directory, virtualization, routers / switches and wireless
Support in performing DR testing
Support in internal/external audits
Must have hands-on experience with many enterprise-level information security systems (anti-virus, laptop encryption, email encryption, single sign-on, intrusion detection, SIEM, mobile device management)
Applied experience implementing various security mechanisms across the systems stack (applications, databases, multi-platforms and operating systems)
