Job Description:
• Audits the Internal Controls, policies, procedures and accounting and financial data of various departments within an organization.

• Develops formal written reports to communicate audit results to management, and makes recommendations as appropriate.

• Facilitates the work of external auditors when on-site.

• Responsible for assignments, which range from moderately difficult to complex.

• Is able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction.

• Applies initiative and independent judgement to resolve non-routine problems.

• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

• Uses internal auditing concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative ways.

• Relies on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

• Generally requires extensive experience in accounting or related business field.

• Typically has a bachelor's degree and CIA or CPA.
