\t\t Position Description
\t\t\t\t\tPURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Perform the day to day activities required to perform the inventory and procurement activities in the refurb / manufacturing facilities. Responsible for performing all daily transactions including material receipts & shipments, entering material transactions (in & out) of the Lawson Inventory / Procurement database, entering material requisitions, material receipts, and placing orders with suppliers as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities \uf0a7 Prepare shipping and receiving documents 25% \uf0a7 Perform inventory transactions in the computerized inventory management system 25% \uf0a7 Track warehouse inventory for purchasing requirements 10% \uf0a7 Document the collection of equipment stored in the yard for refurb projects. 10% \uf0a7 Purchase materials and services required to maintain inventory levels as directed. 5% \uf0a7 Assist to load and unload equipment and check in materials / equipment deliveries 25% WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Refurb Managers, Operations Managers & Foreman, Manager of Engineering, Engineers, Business Development, Suppliers, Contractors, Trucking Companies.
\t\t\t\t\tEducation High School diploma or equivalent. Experience 1-2 years experience in inventory management in a manufacturing environment Competencies, skills and abilities Preferred: Skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook. Construction experience desired. Knowledge of pipe, valves and fittings as well as equipment used in NGL recovery and processing preferred. The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. Fork Lift Certification Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in a construction environment. Ability to walk up and down stairs, ladders, platforms. Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions
