Our mission as a leading investment management firm is to help our clients achieve their long-term financial goals. We believe our associates are the key to this mission and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our commitment to our client’s success. If you’re looking for challenging work experiences and the ability to learn in a collaborative culture, we invite you to explore the opportunities available at T. Rowe Price.

The Investment Liaison (IL) provides support to investment teams, including Portfolio Managers (PM) and Portfolio Specialists (PS). The IL, acting as a conduit for Investments, supports all stages of the client life cycle by managing investment-related, operational activities. This is achieved by ensuring operational readiness of client portfolios, partnering with analytical support teams, informing key stakeholders of changes to portfolios, and facilitating investment strategy changes. These responsibilities enable investments to focus on portfolio management, not operational matters, to deliver solid performance results for our clients.

As the operational point of contact for Investments (PM, PS) and subject matter expert for assigned investment strategies, the IL ensures operational readiness of proprietary products and client portfolios. The IL enables the investment process through reporting cash flows, communicating corporate action decisions, executing discretionary trades, etc. Activities include reviewing investment guidelines, establishing and monitoring paper portfolios, maintaining custom industry structures, and monitoring unique client requirements. The IL provides support for Investment Steering Committees and various Boards.

Creates and ensures accuracy of portfolio-level data and analysis to support investment decisions and client inquiries. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely distribution of attribution and risk data (FI and AA) and customized portfolio information. The IL works closely with Investments to develop ad hoc, non-standard reports using custom benchmarks, custom asset diversifications, and non-standard returns to support sales and client retention. The IL may also be responsible for updating portfolio models for new investment products or conducting scenario analysis for multi-sector/asset allocation products.

Facilitates timely resolution of investment-related issues to minimize risk and compliance errors. The IL stays informed about regulatory changes that may impact their investment strategy. Ensures investment decisions and client portfolios adhere to regulatory policies, industry standards, and compliance guidelines. This includes ensuring alignment across client and TRP product guidelines; escalating compliance warnings to PM and GCO, as necessary, and following through to resolution including client communication; managing GIPS composite review to retain the firm’s GIPS compliant status.

Acting on behalf of Investments, the IL is responsible for communicating investment strategy changes to Marketing and Operations teams. This includes managing benchmark changes, investing in new markets or instrument types, PM and investment analyst changes. The IL acts with authority in determining the impact to reporting and websites. Depending on the scope of change, the IL leads cross-functional teams to ensure changes are accommodated timely.
