FORTUNE 100 INVESTMENT BANKING / FINANCIAL CLIENT is looking for a Java Developer (Multithreading, CORE) to work from Chandler, AZ.

Java Unix Developer
Location:
Chandler, AZ
Duration:
12 months
Knowledge of Unix OS, fluency in shell script programming.
Java programming (1.5 or higher) with the stress on multithreaded programming. Synchronization of threads: understanding thread monitor concept, wait, notify, join methods etc.
XML knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining java applications extensively using XML files.
Java application organization, tuning and maintenance in Unix environment.
Web-site development and understanding the respective client-server applications. Experience in programming servlets, java beans, jsp. Experience with Hibernate and Spring MVC frameworks, JBOSS and Tomcat. Web-logic knowledge is a plus.
Understanding the software development cycle and experience in source code management with version control systems, especially Subversion (SVN).
Experience designing/developing Web Services
Experience with Oracle and SQL
Hands-on practice and understanding of Design Patterns
