Java Developer

Profile

This position will assist the in the design, development, testing and support of healthcare application software products.
Responsibilities:
Develop web based SOA applications in Java from design specifications and direction from project leaders.
Participate in the full life cycle application production of commercial quality software programs utilizing Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Programming (OOP) methodologies.
Produce clean concise reusable software programs consistent with department standards.
Employ design skills including Infrastructure and Feature definition, Componentization, using UML and User Interface Design.
Develop software that employs Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in back-end J2EE development
Expert in the following technologies: EJB3; JMS; Web Services; XML
Strong knowledge in OOP/OOD and design patterns
Experience with DB2/Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL
Preferred skills: SOA; ESB; Rules Engine; BPEL knowledge
