On behalf of its clients, Liquidity Services has completed the sale of over $2.4 billion of surplus assets in over 500 product categories including consumer goods, capital assets and industrial equipment.
We are looking for a technically proficient java developer who will work on creating new applications and enhancing existing LSI applications. The candidate will be involved in working on cutting edge technologies and work on implementing and solving business problems with the latest suite of java based tools and technologies. Candidate will work closely with Architects, Senior Developers and Business/operation users inside the company as well as collaborating with offshore teams.
• Design, Code, Unit test and contribute to the overall development of LSI business applications particularly in Java
• Participate in design and code reviews with peers
• Should be responsible for end-to-end development of tasks h e/she owns.
• Should be a good team member and also an individual contributor.
• Exceptional Problem Solving Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Minimum of 2-5 years object-orientated Java programming experience
• Experience with open source frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, Struts and Mule a plus
• Strong knowledge of and experience with object-oriented methodologies, enterprise application architectures and design pattern, use of automated testing frameworks
• Experience with relational database management systems
• Comprehensive understanding of the Application servers, database software and deployment technologies.
• Experienced with software development processes, and in particular, software design and unit/integration testing
