Nasdaq Position Overview

NASDAQ is looking for a Lead Financial Planning and Analysis professional in Philadelphia PA!


Conducts financial analyses. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Develops and prepares the organization's financial plans and budgets, interprets financial reports, and maintains good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.

Communicates financial reports to senior managers with a consultative, informative approach to fulfill the need for financial follow up, business planning and business control within the organization.

Presents monthly accounting close data, in addition to forecasting and budget activities to contribute to a better business awareness and resource planning.

Reviews analyses of business initiatives, competitors, benchmark data, operational effectiveness, prospected mergers and acquisitions to guide business decisions, providing guidance on complex analyses.

Communicates and presents data as needed.

Conducts a complex analysis of key business and financial decisions.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications

· Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

· Experience Required: 10 years

Analyzes financial measures such as rates of return, depreciation and net present value of investments, and reviews reports on findings to make recommendations to management.

Develops long-range plans and recommendations for growth and profitability objectives based on projections.

Analyzes synthesized market analyses and benchmarking data to measure and manage business performance and predict trends and possibilities.

Develops and refines requirements related to advanced financial modeling, teaching complex techniques to others.

Utilizes complex financial models to forecast financial results, model financial statements and perform advanced analyses.

Demonstrates subject matter expertise in design tools and implements complex financial models.

Demonstrates subject matter expertise in the business segment, financial markets where applicable, and the interplay of cash flows within the organization.

Provides expertise and guidance on novel analyses and unique questions, presenting findings to customers and varying audiences.
