Learning Center Agronomist for Huxley, IA to coordinate & execute variety and hybrid demonstration plots; administer & conduct crop protection efficacy and tolerance tests; develop & test agronomic system concepts; monitor & maintain weed management in corn and soybean; manage testing & evaluation of new products and traits; develop & conduct training events and tours for customers, reps, management and external stakeholders; develop & maintain relationships with local growers; provide written summaries for sales, advertising & marketing; oversee contract, per diem & intern labor; oversee worker safety program; assist with maintaining USDA regulatory compliance. Requires Ph.D. in Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Crop Science or closely-related field & 2 yrs post-doctoral experience performing agronomic-related field research; conducting agronomic-related experimental design & field and test plot management; analyzing & interpreting agronomic-related statistical data; and performing agronomic-related research data & software management.
