Mgr – Business operations
System Administration/Lead for ancillary tools rolled out in the Wholesale environment (ie. Masterstrem, DSAT)
Working with other groups and outside vendors to evaluate and implement software and hardware.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Evaluate applications processing and recommends enhancement to improve processing and runtimes as required by business needs.
Partners with all IT Departments and Business Areas to implement enhancements, trouble shoot problems, develop and maintain processes and procedures.
Mentoring and teaching your co-workers, and vice versa
Manage system access, audits and terminations.
Strong attention to detail and abiity to work in a fast-paced environment
Abiity to rapidly troubleshoot problems.
Overall responsibility to focus on system improviements that drive sales.
Provides regular and timely project status updates to management as needed to ensure projects are meeting agreed upon timelines.
Prepares and submits weekly staff notes to immediate management including high level summary of current project and process items.
This position requires that the candidate have an undergraduate degree in a business related field or equivalent related work experience. Other desired skills include:
a) Minimum of five years of in related field
b) Proven project management track record
c) Ability to make effective presentations to small to medium sized groups
d) A working knowledge of H.S.I, Ethernet and basic telephony products
e) Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent complex tasks
f) Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Visio.
g) SharePoint and MasterStream systems is a plus.
h) Communication Skills balanced listening and talking, speaking and writing clearly and accurately, influencing others, keeping others informed.
i) Ability to work independently in a fast paced changing environment with minimal instruction.
