Position Summary:

Responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing work associated with the development, analysis, and improvement of existing global supply chain operations and processes, and for the development and implementation of Rockwell Automation materials planning strategies, systems, processes, and procedures.

Major responsibilities:

Plan and direct the efforts of assigned staff. Provide necessary training and leadership to develop expertise in the functional areas of materials planning and supply chain.

Serve as a focal point and provide supply chain subject matter experts for linking to Connected Supply Chain efforts.

Provide relevant experience for all affected Business Unit strategic and operational planning activities. Develop, implement & maintain appropriate processes to ensure a productive planning process and well-considered and actionable strategic plans.

Research situations and obtain input from others to ensure fact-based solutions and answers to technical and operational problems.

Apply increasingly in-depth and advanced knowledge and expertise, analytical skills, and creative thinking to modify or adjust processes or approaches to best meet needs/objectives.

Apply in-depth financial knowledge, expertise and analytical skills to model potential solutions sets to issues related to the associated Business Units product portfolio. In addition, act as business resource to assist in the resolution of RACS wide inquiries and problems.

Support and lead supply chain efforts related to SAP and Connected Supply Chain go-lives, including business discovery, process design, data conversions, and hypercare.

Provide appropriate reporting to ensure the health of the supply chain and assess operational effectiveness of Rockwell Automation locations and partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree. Prefer degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a Supply Chain focus, Operations or equivalent.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Production and Inventory Control, Materials, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.

Strong interpersonal skills, independent problem resolution, proven leadership ability necessary to be effective across functions and levels, and the ability to manage the requirement of others not directly supervised.

Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Desired Qualifications:

APICS Certification CPIM/CIRM.

Master's Degree, MBA or other related advanced degree.

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Visio.

SAP experience preferred.

Strong team leader/contributor, comfortable in leading cross functional and multi-cultural teams.

High energy, driven and enthusiastic about opportunities to establish and implement new approaches.

Proven well-rounded knowledge in supply chain, materials planning, and logistics obtained by both experience and study of APICS theory.

Exceptional problem solving and project management skills.

Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to various levels of the organization.

Proficient in dealing with language and cultural barriers.

Capable of capturing and transforming an idea/concept into business opportunity and deliver positive results in a timely fashion.


This position may require significant travel to global Rockwell Automation locations.
