Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) is seeking a dynamic, and proven, leader for the role of Manager, Travel Risk Management. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of travel safety and security services to all Amazon travelers by operationalizing duty of care responsibilities. About the Role: The position is responsible for deploying travel risk management best practices, techniques, tools, and tradecraft to mitigate risk and add value to business operations. The Manager will provide anticipatory warning and course of action recommendations in support of business strategies. The position will also support ground transport, hotel selection, and vendor management initiatives on a global scale. This is a leadership and program development opportunity. The Manager will report into the Head of Global Threat Management. Responsibilities

Monitoring, guidance, and support to Amazonians traveling internationally
Prepare and deliver proactive security and safety communications to business travelers
Development, coordination, and distribution of enterprise travel safety products
Risk-based guidance to lines of business and leadership in response to critical incidents and travel security
Influence intelligence requirements, special projects, and ad-hoc research initiatives
Assess data to identify patterns and trends which could compromise Employee travel safety
International travel policy management and partnership with corporate travel
Develops educational resources and programs including reference guides, forms, and presentations
Building a great team; hiring, motivating, and fostering an exceptional workplace
Actively participates on committees related to Employee safety and security
Life Safety Risk Management \u2013 Risk assessment, mitigation, and response to hazards:Threat assessment, Determine and/or implement mitigation, Situational awareness (external events and risks)
Monitor and communicate threats, assessment, and safe response actions
Cross-functional metrics, measurement, and reporting
Brand, identity, and customer management
Outreach and engagement: Local, State, National, and other partners
Willingness to work on-call and irregular hours; desire to support global crisis response needs

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor\u2019s degree or related work experience that supplements degree requirement
4 years direct experience within a risk management, intelligence, or travel security role
4 years crisis management, response, or preparedness experience (CEM, ICS, or other)
Must be willing to travel (10-20%)

Preferred Qualifications

At least four years direct experience working within a travel risk management function, crisis management or relevant field; management and leadership of teams
Superstar communication abilities; must be able to write/present with impact
Outstanding technical abilities (ex: social media, tradecraft, OSINT)
Certification in Emergency Management (CEM) or experience in crisis management, risk communication, threat or hazard analysis and/or emergency planning and training
Global risk, analysis, and threat mitigation background
Language and cultural proficiencies
Degree, or background, within intelligence, journalism, communications, or data science
Technical competencies: MS Office Suite (Visio, Excel, SharePoint); Ability to manage large data arrays, Tableau, search engines, and other relevant tools
Standing relationships with government, LE, and global associations relevant to the position
Must be able to work independently in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
