The Construction Project Manager provides themanagement and leadership to effectively lead, support, coordinate and manageconstruction and remodel projects of varying degree of complexity. Takes projects from design throughcompletion, providing advice and assistance to all levels of staff andmanagement groups to facilitate resource planning and meet regulatory requirements. Determines support, direction and/orstrategies necessary to solve significant problems related to successfulproject completion. Provides regularschedule and budget updates indicating project performance. Manages otherfacility related building improvements and compliance documentation as needed.Education:B.A. / B.S. requieredExperience:
3years of actual construction management experience requiredDirect experience with OSHPD required.
1-3 years of progressive construction projectmanagement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencerequired. Evidenceof experience which defines competency in construction management. Evidence ofexperience in successful administration and leadership of organizationalmanagement programs.

Abilityto ensure operational efficiency, problem solve and make decisions, andexercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requestsand/or conflicting demands from multiple customers.
Requires knowledge, ability and judgment necessaryto: exercise judgment within the guidelines of the construction managementprocess, department policy and licensure practice act.
Ability to sustain direction under minimalsupervision, in assessing needs, directing staff and carrying out departmentaland professional responsibilities; self-starting and self-motivating; workinghours may exceed eight (8) hours per day and is based on what is needed toaccomplish work at hand.
Oversee the supervision of personnel, whichincludes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnelactions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
Create or assist with the development andimplementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of theorganization.
Promote effective communication within the multi-professionalteam and Understand management and delegation principles.
