Job Description

Support the effectiveness of a senior leader and their organization by providing leadership/coordination of staff agendas, budget management, business metrics and reporting, communications and presentations and other initiatives to drive the business agenda. Operate as an extension of the senior leader and often represent the leader through personal interactions with others.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and administer department programs and ensure delivery of key tasks to support organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities may often include budget management, organizational metrics, tracking and reporting, and improvement in employee satisfaction. May coordinate year-end performance management/compensation process for leader. Often partner with other functional areas to accomplish responsibilities.

Prepare presentations, communications and speeches for the direct leader, which generally involve presentations to employee, advisor, or management groups. May also be accountable for developing draft materials for meetings such as Health of Business (HOB) or Service staff or leader meetings.

Assist with organizational initiatives such as process improvements projects, re-engineering tracking, organizational restructurings, or other initiatives that provide assistance to the executive. May be expected to oversee project work or arrange business events for the executive.

May be responsible for developing, coaching and guiding other support staff members.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

5 years of relevant work experience.

Ability to work under pressure with undefined processes, tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across diverse units / staff functions.

Strong communication/influencing skills to interact with all levels.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze data/information and form conclusions.

Effective planning and coordination skills; proven ability to create timelines and execute accordingly.

Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

Required Qualifications

Project management experience preferred.
