Marketing Manager, Wine/Cider/Juice Remote BasedPosition Summary:The Market Manager, working closely with business unit colleagues is responsible for revenue growth, business development and the Systems portfolio within the Wine/Cider/Juice mini-markets. The Market Manager should identify target applications within these mini-markets and work with Product Management and Regional Marketing to define the recommended Pall products, marketing plan, positioning, training and sales tools. The Market Manager should understand the customer needs and requirements and continually analyze trends to identify new opportunities for profitable growth. Primary Responsibilities:Uses understanding of market trends and competitive situation to identify target applications, positioning and new business opportunities for profitable growth. Develops programs for promotion and provides input for marketing and strategic plans. -25%Manages system portfolio for Wine/Cider/Juice mini-markets including product pricing, OTD and quality, continuous improvement of positioning, cost and profitability as well as life cycle. – 25%Supports Product Management and R&D colleagues with voice of customer, input on specifications and application requirements and helps identify beta test sites to ensure development of the right products. Works with regional marketing and sales to develop market specific positioning, promotion, sales tools and training to ensure successful product launches and achievement of revenue targets. – 20%Acts as liaison across sales regions to ensure sharing of information and successes for strategic and key accounts. – 10%Develops effective programs to design, deliver and guide training for customers, sales associates and distributors -10%Identifies market specific OEMs and supports sales to build relations to win the spec. -5%Actively tracks and analyzes global sales growth, margin and issues for the Wine/Cider/Juice mini-markets. Provides regular reports on performance. – 5%Proactively develops goals and objectives to support the organization’s strategic vision. Identifies specific action steps, accountabilities and timelines for completion. Displays the ability to translate objectives into action plans that result in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Continually develops others to achieve their highest potential. Develops oneself and encourages others to continually meet present and anticipated business and personal goals. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or Marketing. Food Science degree. 5 years' experience in food and beverage sales and marketing supporting the Wine market or experience working in a winery.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with food and beverage processing equipment and filtration systems preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills to advocate for Pall’s portfolio within the market with customers, sales and marketing peers, distributors and management. Ability to lead presentations and/or trainings.Possesses knowledge to understand general business and Pall’s products and services for the Wine/Cider/Juice mini- markets, in particular.Freedom to travel with minimal advance notice and be available for travel of reasonable duration (1-2 weeks), in conjunction with the travel requirements (estimated at up to 40%).String computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.Miscellaneous: Holds a current driver’s license, has a passport and be prepared to travel abroad.
