Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer
Responsible for business intelligence (BI) development primarily utilizing the Microsoft stack. Data warehouse development and administration for reporting, dashboards, KPIs and data mining to meet business needs. Requires gathering and understanding business requirements for documenting needs, cost justification and follow-through solution development. In-depth analysis is required to ensure business needs are met and ensuring a high level of BI availability. Leads integration efforts with disjointed systems for creation and modification of a central data repository. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, installation, maintenance, performance tuning and disaster recovery for BI systems. A strong understanding of key business metrics is required to deliver effective information for business leaders.
Required Experience
BS Degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business or related field
5 years IT experience with a strong understanding of OLTP and OLAP databases
3-5 years data warehousing experience or related BI technologies
Microsoft SQL Server experience
Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to document technical and business requirements
Self-motivated working ability with minimal supervision or direction
Experience working in a team environment

SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2
Analysis Services (SSAS) administration
OLAP cube development and tuning
Data warehouse security
Disaster recovery
ETL operations
SQL and MDX statements
Extensive BIDS development
Object oriented development; preferable C#.NET
Microsoft SharePoint development / customization
Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar source control
Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics CRM
